  Welcome to the DeForest Lions Club website!

            The DeForest Lions are members of
    Wisconsin Lions District 27-D1 and members
    of Lions International, the largest service club     organization in the world.
      The DeForest Lions Club received its charter     from Lions International in July of 1956 with 32
    members. For a half century the Lions have
    been committed to making the DeForest
    community a better place to live by serving
    those in need. The DeForest Lions Club
    raises funds through a variety of activities,
    which includes rose sales for Mother's Day,
    cookie dough sales, 4th of July community raffle,     chicken BBQ, and brat busts. 
       Each year, proceeds from these fundraising     events are donated for local scholarships and
    to various local charities. Many local requests
    for eyeglass and hearing aid assistance are     considered throughout the year. Also, the     Wisconsin Lions Camp and the Wisconsin Eye     Bank are suuported through annual contributions. 
      The Club cleans a portion of Hwy 51 three
    times a year.
      So, as you can see, there is much more to the
    DeForest Lions than meets the eye. We are con-
    tinually trying to create ways to raise money to     assist people with their visual and hearing needs.
